I have always liked small vehicles and 4x4's, so what could be better than a tiny 4wd like this! Although I am a land rover fan through and through you have to respect the precursor and inspiration for the original S1 land rover. I must admit that the military versions with their small, sunken in headlights have never really spoke to me but these early 'flat fender' jeeps with their cute faces really appeal to my tastes.

Going to a scrap yard to cut up discos

Hunting for roof cuts to repair 'Reds' roof. Since Reds roof skin was beyond repair I decided to go to my local Land Rover specialist to see what they had in their yard. I remembered from my last visit that there were quite a few 'Romulus' Discovery's so my hope was to chop the rear out of one of them.
